21 NYC Trademark 60 1x12 Analog 60 watt Amplifier |
|
| |
I have for sale a Tech21 Trademark 60 analog 60 watt 1x12
amp. Les Paul could afford any amp on the planet but wouldn't need to because every
manufacturer would have killed to get his endorsement; this is what he chose to use
for live performances in the last 10 years of his life. This
particular unit is the mark I series from the late 90's with an
engine turned chassis (see rear view) that I have never seen in any other amp
including boutique models. Built in the USA in New York City.
Materials and construction quality are absolutely pro. The channel
1 clean tones are gorgeous. This is NOT a digital modeling amp, but
rather an all-analog tube emulation from the company that
invented the Sans-Amp product line. It sounds great at house levels and
even better on stage where it easily holds its own at high SPL's. I
am the original owner. It's never been gigged.

Check out the 200+ reviews on
Harmony Central before making any decision to buy (or
especially not to buy!) this great piece of pro-quality gear. These
amps have been on the market for over a decade with only very minor
changes. I'm only selling because I have a newer one plus a Tech 21
Power Engine 60, and another amp on the way. So someone has to
go!
Quotes from
Harmony Central:
"The open-backed 1x12 cabinet is plenty loud enough to keep up
in most band performance situations."
"...great tones from Fendery Clean to Marshall crunch, to flat
out lead tones with great harmonics and sustain."
"Clean channel - Wow! As many others have said, the clean
channel is a thing of beauty."
"It shimmers and shines but has enough width to make single note
work a real joy."
"This amp is a bargain and can hold its head up with most tube
amps twice to three times its price."

The amp is
in near mint condition, well cared for, adult owned in
a smoke-free home. I like them enough to own two plus a Power Engine 60.
This is one of the best solid state amps out there. Come
by and check it out...
Current new selling price at Musicians Friend is $609. Ebay prices are all over the map
and most of the amps are older than this one. I'm asking $425 or best reasonable offer. I'll decide what
"reasonable" means and I'm far from desperate, so remember this is in beautiful condition
and please do make an offer. With the price of quality extension cabs rocketing upwards, if I can't get what the amp is worth
it'll be worth keeping.
You may inspect this in downtown Manchester NH, M-F or weekends by appt.
We will not ship. Local pickup only. Cash Is King.
